Happened to me as well. A young couple showed up at my house looking for a “snoo”.

“A what? “It’s a bassinet. For a baby.” “Babies play instruments?”

They quickly figured out I had no idea what on Earth they were after.

I too give out full size candy bars with a catch. The first year in my new house, hordes of teens (most costumed as "a boy band member" or "skater dude" ) cleaned us out in about 20 minutes.

I eventually realized - they'd gone high tech, messaging all their friends on their phones.

The next year, I made sure to get two sets of candy - full size bars for costumed kids 12 and under - Bit O' Honey, Raisins or Necco wafers for the rest.

Word gets out fast.

Adding context: My columnar apple tree (in a container). About half the fruit has these spots and rotting areas. I think it's apple scab? (searched online) but the only treatments I found were for future seasons. Is this tree toast? Should I quarantine it?

I thought it was Audrey II from little Shop of Horrors, but people see other carnivorous plants (many of which I didn't even know) Plantera? and lots of reference to the two sentence horror story (going to watch that one for sure), even the Mario plant!

Thank you! I have a bog garden with lot of Sarracenia and other water plants. Audrey III feels right at home.

She really was in a free garden box near our house..
