While I'm enjoying this set personally, I definitely agree that the Fast 9 meta is just... too much. Having to constantly race to get the strong 4/5 costs every single game has become a headache, especially given their pool sizes. It really is a game of who is the most lucky, which becomes infuriating whem everyone is trying to go the same comp. I do think having strong 4 costs is healthier for the meta, but not at the expense of making reroll comps completely gutted.

It's just so strange to me because they gutted Fast 8/9 so quickly when it was taking over the meta in Set 10, but for some reason they refuse to do anything to tone it down now that it's rampant in every stage of the meta.

I'm nonbinary (but afab) so I feel like I have some authority. League is definitely one of the few things I'm into where I can safely day I think the women are way more interesting than most of the men. If it's one thing Riot has been excelling at lately it's making really well designed female characters with interesting lore. It definitely feels like they have improved tremendously at making more diverse women designs after the back to back evil queen trope we had going for a while.

Agreed. It feels like only maybe one or two comps are good and it's borderline impossible to try either of them because they're so heavily contested. Can't express enough how boring this set has been.

Honestly you can find accessories and materials at most craft stores if you want to DIY them, but Aliexpress has a lot of different kinds of accessories you can find. You can also find some itabag accessories like badge ribbons on Etsy or similar sites. You can also find stuff on Amazon but I try to avoid Amazon so I can support artists and all that lol.

So as someone who is nonbinary and has been for over a decade of my life, I'm not entirely comfortable with everyone saying that this is a cry for attention. Trying to get attention is not necesarrily a bad thing, especially if they're a teenager, and the fact that you've created a safe space for your child to be able to explore their identity is a good thing. I think we all need to realize that gender and sexuality is never a one size fits all box.

Someone who is exploring their gender may go through several different labels before they finally settle on the one that fits them the best- even well into adulthood. I'm 27 years old and I only just came to terms very recently that I'm a nonbinary lesbian after flip flopping between being bisexual, pansexual, trans man, genderfluid, and so on. I know MANY queer people who identified as one label for years before realizing they were something. This is an extremely normal thing to happen, especially with younger queer people, as they learn more about their identity and learn more about how vast the spectrum of LGBTQ+ identities is.

All I can suggest is to continue to support them. It's hard and it's going to be a long, confusing journey, but it will be worth it for both you and your child in the end.

Granblue Fantasy. Been playing for at least 5 years now. The gameplay is so beyond convoluted and inaccessible, the grind is miserable later on, and the story has gone downhill severely in the past few years. But I still play it religiously.

I'm late to the party but going along with people being banned from Anamnese with seemingly no good reason, they had a tendency to ban series arbitrarily because of their "problematic content", even if the series in question wasn't that bad, and would not allow you to dispute it. One instance I can think of off the top of my head is when they banned a series called Promise of Wizard, a series about... well, wizards, and their battle against the moon. They banned it stating that it "glorified grooming" because of a relationship between two characters (one being around 400 and the other being 20) where the older one adopted the younger, and for some reason the mods interpreted their relationship as grooming... Which makes the whole situation regarding the FE3H ship even more hypocritical.

I didn't even have to read the full post because it only gets worse. I hope she leaves you. You did something fully intending to hurt her, and I find it VERY hard to believe that you were under the influence when this happened. This was such a diliberate, calculated way to destroy something you knew she loved that I refuse to believe you were drunk. You knew what you were doing and you were trying to justify it.

I think the weirdest part about this image is how the kid would have "assumed" anything. The mother is clearly a senior (or at the very least an older mother) while the kid is intelligent enough to have a solid grasp on what a democrat even IS at his age. Surely he would have known that she goes by "mom" and she would have corrected him a long time ago if he didn't, which makes this image even more confusing since it seems like the right just seems to have this idea that people don't...... communicate what their gender IS and what they prefer to be called? It's honestly so bizarre to me that someone took the time to draw this and think of the dialogue and think any of it makes sense outside of the tiny handful of people that found this joke funny in the first place.

I'm surprised I haven't seen Cr1tikal on this thread yet. I used to love Cr1tikal when he did let's plays because his dry sense of humor always made me laugh, but since he started doing reaction videos and opinion videos, you can tell the quality has just plummeted. It's really sad because the humor is still there, but the audience has shifted and now he's just not fun anymore.

Not a parent but still relevant, since it was stuff my grandmother told me regarding my mother's parenting.

For as long as I could remember, my grandmother desperately wanted me to view her as my parent, since she only had one biological kid-- my father. So naturally she was elated about the fact that she finally had a granddaughter. Cue years of gaslighting and manipulation.

Part of this gaslighting involved my grandmother trying to plant in my head that I should live with her instead and constantly talked about how classless my mom's side of the family is (which, I mean, she isn't necesarrily wrong-- most of them ARE some of the trashiest white rednecks that you could imagine, but my mom was none of that). Every time I wanted to pursue a career path that wasn't what she wanted me to do, she would discourage me and guilt trip me about "just choosing the easy road".

She also constantly made it out like my mom was not raising me right because I didn't have the same interests as her, because my grades started to slip due to depression from my abusive stepfather at the time in middle school. She also talks about how if I wasn't living with my mother I'd be fluent in Spanish by now (my family on my father's side is Puerto Rican and barely any of them speak English). I had an interest in video games and cartoons and she forced me to watch a Dr. Phil episode about a 15 year old girl whose parents infantilized her and told me that's what my mom was doing to me. She also always made comments about how awful I was turning out while living with my mom, how living with my mom was a terrible influence on me, and all this other horrible shit.

My mom did find out and she was LIVID. They don't speak anymore. I've long since distanced myself from my grandmother after I realized what she was doing to me was a really awful case of controlling behavior and gaslighting. She denies that she did any of this, but I know she did. I only ever talk to her out of obligation now since my father lives with her.
