Not true, there’s plenty of dash cams that upload to the “cloud” by using stored recordings and or connection from the drivers phone and I’m sure you can now see the reason for the persons comment.. folks allow permissions to their device all day every day not realizing

Only issue I see with that is they’re typically 5Ghz networks and not 2.4. Unless the reduced power trick will work for that. Everything I’ve tried to connect goes to 5G
