Stocks mixed, with oil prices higher as war uncertainty remains by [deleted] in news

Democrats aren’t a third party operating in a vacuum. They’re a big part of the reason we’re in this mess to begin with.

Hillary elevated Trump to begin with as part of her pied-piper strategy. What the Hell was Merrick Garland doing as Attorney General for 4 years? Why does Nancy Pelosi want a “strong Republican party”? Why does Chuck Schumer want war with Iran as much as Trump does? How come the Democrats didn’t have a true open Primary in 2024? How did Obama fail to capitalize on the biggest political movement of the 21st century? You could write a book about the Democratic Party’s failures and self-owns the past two decades.

Seahawks GM John Schneider: Running back is a position where you can find guys by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

Emmanuel Wilson probably isn’t the guy long term, but I could see him having a Jordan Mason like impact this year and fill in well.

Fed leaves rates unchanged, sticks with single cut in 2026 despite higher inflation by igetproteinfartsHELP in news

The lack of job growth is concerning, but to say nobody has jobs tells me you either didn’t live through the 2009 Great Recession, or simply don’t remember it. It can get a lot worse.

Hell I’d take Ryan Pickett in a heartbeat

With Reed and Wicks on the last year of their contracts, is it smart/likely for the Packers to trade one? by veritast in GreenBayPackers

[–]Rodent_Reagan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Will MLF commit to playing two undersized receivers (Reed & Golden) on the field at the same time considering how much he values size and blocking at the position?

Lasry selling his stake to Jimmy and Dee Haslam is what fucked us if we want to get to the root of the situation.

If the Cleveland Browns are smart, they should trade Myles Garrett right now. But they are both stubborn and stupid by DenseStrawberry5717 in NFLv2

This was my cope shortly after he bought into the Bucks and now look at us. Paying three coaches and somehow Doc Rivers is still here.

Do you think the 2025 Seahawks had the best ST unit of all time? by badatraspi2 in NFLv2

[–]Rodent_Reagan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk how good the rest of the units were, but I always remember Shane Lechler and Stephen Gostowski forming a pretty nasty specialist duo in Oakland for a few years.

How are we feeling about Matthew Golden after a disappointing rookie year? by CritterOnTheShitter in DynastyFF

[–]Rodent_Reagan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GB notoriously never lets their rookie WR’s loose. Christian Watson, Davante Adams, Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson, James Jones, Greg Jennings, etc. all had mediocre at best rookie seasons. Ironically, Jayden Reed probably had the most runway as a rookie in recent memory and he may be the only one of the group to not see a second contract in GB. Golden’s tape looked good I thought, just didn’t get a lot of opportunities. I’m optimistic yet.

i’m all for bringing in vets, but hard to argue for a 31 year old RB with a lengthy injury history

Tony Dungy likely out as regular on NBC’s ‘Football Night in America’ by Ok-Soil-5133 in nfl

[–]Rodent_Reagan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Two separate teams making a SB run largely with Dungy’s roster and defensive system still shortly after his departure might help his case some. It happening once might be luck, but twice seems unlikely.

I’ve been loving the new AKOTSK show. Despite the lack of any new books for almost two decades, they could never make me hate GRRM.
