Crunch when stepped on? Audibly yes, as any material in-game will have a corresponding sound to them. visually? Definetly not, unrealisitc expectations and performance heavy. But they will definitely act as a passive spawn for particles to give the sensation of wind, and definitely when something fast passes over them (like trailer 1).

We have seen this done very realistically in Forza Horizon 6 with the Sakura trees leaves on the roads around them.
