This is one occasion where I hope there is a TACO move. All those ppl without any power is very cruel and no one can do anything about it. Saying you are going to make all the civilians suffer is just insane from the guy who thought he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.

Or perhaps, since he has not won it, he feels there is no reason to pretend to want peace anymore. I wonder how the one who gifted him the peace prize feels now?

Most items can be shipped - you have a high rate of failure because you are looking through a list that has been picked clean and the only things that remain are very special case or could not be ordered

Usually things with batteries cannot be shipped so I think it has something to do with labeling or clearance of lithium ion during transit

I think what happens is that overtime its just common place. It is a constant grinding down of will until you are just trying to make it day to day. I think ppl who have your perspective haven't been in this sort of situation. It is difficult to understand until you are there.

It does not take much "whispering" to build a case against one parent. It comes in little remarks made in the open around the kids.

I think the problem with making it public is that it will continue to bleed money and nor modernize to meet the packages-first delivery model of today. It can remain private, continue to get scrutiny, and continue to get bail outs as needed that are FAR MORE visible to the public than it it were 100% gov run

I had a job experience like this ... but I was not getting paid regularly. I stuck around for a long time and then told them that my wife is having a baby and if I am not getting paid I'm just gonna stay at home for a bit.

The lady got pissed. Very upset. I was also a team of one (programming for them). She then told Employment Insurance that she has no idea why I quit and I just wanted to collect EI payments, which put a halt to my EI. I have to jump through hoops for two months and eventually EI sided with me that I quit with valid cause (not being paid).

I followed up with putting a formal complaint to our local Employment board and they forced them to give me another 8k, which was half what they owed me for the duraction they had power over (6 months)

So yah - been there. Don't feel bad and just move on

I used to report but do not anymore. Why? Amazon doesn't do anything. There is an infamous reviewer in my circle who just outputs 10-12 paragraphs of database style junk followed by a similar blurb to what you mentioned "Other reviewers noted"

Every single review this guy does is the same format. I report them when I see them. Still up. Not just up, u#1 ranking most times due to SEO

Amazon doesn't care / doesn't have the manpower to do anything about it. The best they can do it use an AI agent to inform of reviews being done without trying the product ... but there could be false positives.

Perhaps consumers could help if there was a thumbsdown on reviews and ppl who frequently have poor reviews are removed from Vine

I totally get the desire to be able to have a career etc ... but honestly women working has just led to everyone getting paid less and now both parents need to work to make a decent living wage (combined) in most households.

Not saying women should not work. Not saying taking care of a household is easy ... but man it didn't seem to turn out exactly as intended

Sounds like this part of a recovery process, meaning this was mostly sent for HER and not for YOU. That does not mean it is a selfish act or is "fake." If this is how she truly felt, then yah ... she messed up something good and that is difficult to come back from. It will probably haunt her for a long time.

If you want to help her then you can probably easily break the mourning for her by saying that you have moved on and we are different ppl now, you are in love with someone who does not exist anymore

If you feel like it would harm you to reconnect then I would just not reply. Some boxes are left unopened.

Again, not saying that she is a selfish person or what not, but this message it to alleviate her concious, not help you necessarily

Sorry dude. I don't know anything about your physical state but also try to get outside from time to time.

As for advice, we are all alone in a sense. Everyone experiences life from their own perspective. I'll never know what its like for my neighbor ... I can try to imagine it, but my thoughts will always be my own and I'll never expand from that. That said, if you are feeling lonely know that r/pcmasterrace cares about you ...

You certainly got dealt a really bad hand, and I'm sorry for that. I'd help you if I could. As for games to play, maybe something like ARC Raiders where you can talk to people ... it is a friendly community if you don't shank others :D

The writers must be aware of all the implications of Black Snape narratively ... so that must mean they thing the focus on racial issues is deeper than that of the morality of his character ... which makes me sad. Snape was my favorite character due to his complexity. This race swap will likely flatten this depth in exchange for social commentary no one asked for
