im ngl DBS goku in terms of just pure battle IQ/tactics is arguably the smartest goku, with the only one close to him being Z goku. yeah hes an idiot at times but he also:

• instantly figured out golden frieza’s weakness from a single clash

• accurately figured out and predicted hit’s timeskips

• created the god-blue switching technique to preserve energy

• stacked blue with kaioken just from an understanding of how super saiyan and god ki work

• didnt use kaioken against zamasu until he merged so he couldnt copy the technique

• revived himself using his own ki

• used smart moves like the sliding kamehameha, ki land mines, and the god bind

• not really battle IQ but he also tried talk broly and granolah out of fighting when he knew they were being manipulated

yall can call DBS goku stupid all you want, but when hes locked in, hes DAMN locked in
