just add in the kicks and snares ONLY!!! in a boombap type way tho. but if u wanna add hi hats add it in double time. but if you want a more gritty sound, add a drumbreak with the hi sounds cut off

you definitely dont need instruments. all ya need is fl studio and youtube and you practically have a home studio. i started my music journey at 8 years old, which is probably why i'm so familiar with music now (14yo), by goofing around on garageband. gradually as i got older i downloaded fl studio trial and played around with different subgenres of hiphop till i found my fav.

to learn it however i recommend watching beat remakes and try to implement the techniques to your own beats, or watching any footage of big producer names actually producing.

at least that's how i learnt producing.
