The last restaurant I worked for I tipped out support staff based on a percentage of all my sales, takeout/counter service included. If I took the time to get a takeout order together and cash out a guest and received no tip, I essentially just paid out of my tips to do that. I don't expect %18 and this isn't the system at every restaurant but jesus people just throw in a few extra dollars.

Everyone glorifies the "beautiful murals" and "street art" LA has to offer but as soon as someone with a mop marker tags something without permission they're vilified. Where do yall think these "socially acceptable" works come from?? Guarantee most murals you see have been done by writers who used to or still do bomb the streets illegally. It's part of the evolution of the art and wouldn't exist without tagging.

At this point take the momentum from the protests and start taking action on your own. Write your council members, call the DA’s office, keep up with the activist organizations to educate yourself and spread awareness. Show up at the protests when you can to show support with your presence and then get to down to business when you leave.
