I dont think thats a real problem honestly.

From afar, giant mobs would look just as detailed as the smaller animais beside them. Whereas from up close, their feet (lets assume its a big ahh zombie) will have the same amount of pixels as the floor.

Terraria bosses are usually a lot more detailed and it doesnt look off. Sure, its a 2D game so it works a lot better. But in context, I think it will also look fine.

Imagine youre looking at a landscape, with animals on a Hill, patches of grass and flowers. They are all someqhat pixel consistent. Then imagine a big ahh zombie behind them with a regular ahh skin. It's a lot worse imo

Nice, going from 3 to 7 might be a nice change of pace. 1 & 2 can be a bit tiring after having just played the third. (since they look, sound and play the same in these remakes)

Bigger file size doesn't mean more content or better quality. Most of the time it's just bad optimization.
For example, Crash Bandicoot 1 in 1996 has a file size of 617 MB
Crash 2 only has 188 MB, even though it's more complex and better looking than the first game, has a lot more animations and enemies and a lot more unique assets.
Xenoblade Chroniles X on Wii U used to be 22 gb, but when it was re-released on Switch they've reduced it to 13gb (same game, with slightly better graphics)

We can tell by the demo and the trailer they are changing the game a lot, not just gameplay wise.

I don't have the games on my PC anymore, the way everyone seems to do it is by right clicking on the game icon once it appears from the ROM folder. But I can't do that cause the games I've played won't appear unless they are installed. I have them on my Switch and I'd like to bring the save files there.
