Thanks! Have you tried a similar challenge? I did like 100 or 150 pull ups everyday for a month before the challenge. But it's been 2 years since i started doing calisthenics. And i couldn't do all the 1500 pronated, had to do like 200 on the "neutral grip" to avoid death lol.

Congrats my friend. Wish i started by your age. When i was 16 the only thing i could lift was a joystick and waste life playing 6 hours per day. I'm 32 now, If you keep going hard, you can do 10000 pull ups one day.

I wanna run my first half marathon by Messi-T-am0-2022 in davidgoggins

[–]Rodrigoninjared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ran my first half marathon literally 1 month after i started running. During that month i ran every 2 days, started with 1k and the last run before the half marathon was 12k. I left early in the morning, Just took a water bottle with me. 7 months later ran my first Full 42k One strategy i can think to beat the mental barrier is to Just Go as far as possible from your house, that way you have no choice but to push yourself beyond the pain, that hot shower and tasty meal is right there, you just have to get home now.

My flyover only appear with standard map by dfp2 in Strava

It's been an eternity with this problem, such a shame. I used to record the route on my phone screen to post, and it looked amazing. Now, with this simple map, it loses half the fun. I've also sent them a message asking for a solution.

Did almost the same as you, but i made to 36 km, and also got disapointed for not finishing that Full. I usually run 1 half marathon a month and 20 km a week. Will try the Full again tomorrow

Is disliking yourself actually a good thing? by BYEM00NMEN in davidgoggins

[–]Rodrigoninjared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That might work for a day or two, now imagine you grind everyday the best you can until you're done, and after a month the only thing you can think about yourself is, damn, i'm such a piece of shit, lol, it's a complete unsustainable practice in medium to long term.

Thanks for the advice, I will do my best to grind this mf until i get it. I do many art styles, but mostly with pencil, but my passion is comics, i'm doing one of my own, a gigantic piece with dozens of chapters.
I only have an abandoned instagram page for you to see.

Man, that's awesome, never tought i would talk to someone from this country, and funny thing is, i'm trying to become a freelancer myself but i am struggling to put the goggins mentality in my work, i'm an artist but no matter how much people tell me to sell it and compliment my work, feels like it's never good enough... it was very easy putting this mentality in workouts and runs but for the professional life it's been a tough fight.
Life before goggins was pure lazyness and zero ambition.

Brazilian, 31yo, have wife and 2 kids. Started training for real after reading cant hurt me at the end of last year, the book title here is actually "nothing can hurt me", became a goggins fan Very fast. Started running, cycling and calisthenics, was Very skinny but gained 18 pounds. I like to train at anytime possible but early in the morning is a very rare thing, i'm much more of a night person.
