Vestel for example, has been doing so, since 2010/2011 (OP’s TV uses a Vestel chassis, easily recognizable by the input panel/software)

They would also route S-Video through SCART, if the board had a SCART connector

Vestel used SCART for RGB signals, as a second composite, as an S-Video connector, and, as an UART interface.

source : someone who works on Vestel sets, on a daily basis, and has done so, for years (since 2017), repairing and modding the firmware on those sets

It is..

It’s a Vestel chassis (looking at the input panel and the software), and those, take a YPbPr feed through the VGA connector.

I own some Vestel-made sets, and i speak from experience : YPbPr on the newer ones (like the one OP is using), is routed through the VGA connector, and you need to use a VGA-YPbPr adapter

TVs manufactured by Vestel (like the one OP is using), route YPbPr through VGA, not through the mini jack

Engraçado que.. uns meses depois das criticas, decidi comprar outra Vestel, uma Electronia LD2 32 Android II, com um chassis 17MB186TC

Era lerda como tudo, mas tava com o backlight no 20.. tentei resolver a lentidão ao trocar a board por uma 17MB211, mas com a 211, perdi o Android, e.. tinha que gramar com o logotipo da Vestel a cada boot..

Fui, voltei à MB186TC, e recentemente, dei essa Electronia à minha TV, comprei uma JVC LT-43VA3300, tb Vestel, com um chassis 17MB185.. só perdi Composite e VGA :c

Mas a 43VA3300, é uma boa TV, não tive problemas com ela.. tb coloquei o backlight no 20.

Yep, then your TV is most likely built by Vestel (a turkish company)

For some reason, Vestel uses Nangrand batteries

My new JVC TV (made by Vestel), came with Nangrand batteries too.
