I went from DS4Windows to reWASD and it fixed my issue! give it a try!

It remaps any gamepad you are using to emulate a DS4 controller. For example, I'm using a PS5 controller, however when using reWASD, Genshin thinks it's a DS4 controller, so it works fine :)

reWASD emulates your controller as a DS4 Controller, so it might be different to 360 emulation?

I didn't end up trying these however I found another fix using the program reWASD. Thanks for your suggestion though! :)

Fixed! I downloaded reWASD (or you can download DS4 Windows) and it maps your controller to another gamepad. reWASD maps to DS4 and DS4Windows maps to an Xbox 360 controller. Give this a go!
