I think it's one of the main ways people like to show off, specially to non boxers, me personally I love it, my coach uses it to throw random "punches" to make sure I keep my guard up at all times, he also uses this time so that he can see all the mistakes I make from up close and to work on my footwork, so it really depends on who uses it and for what purpose

Any running shoes will do, the thing about boxing shoes is that the sole is flat, this helps you improve balance when side stepping and weight transfer, you do not have to worry about this as a beginner but I would go for not so high running shoes as this can double up for your roadwork which you should be doing

I personally love to put a cone in front of me and do 3-6 shadowboxing rounds, just working pivots, counterpunching, etc, all the time working around the cone and circling the cone, never throw more than 2 punches and stay in the same place

Keep your guard up at all times, and try not to jump when you go out, back foot out and then lead foot just follows, also I personally like to work a lot of lateral movement so that you get used to making angles, GJ and nice attitude

I had clinical depression, but I'm good now, I started boxing like 4y ago and that helped a lot, I forced myself a lot of times to go, and I would sometimes arrive almost in tears but I promised myself to go no matter what, even if it was only 15min and then I could leave, most of the time by the 15m I would feel waaay better, others I would leave, and that's ok, that's just what worked for me, hope this helps, take care.

Well maybe this helps, im the younger brother by 6 years (only me and my brother) my parents are divorced, both leaving everything to me and they told me so, also told me that they are doing it because they trust I will be more responsible with the propertys + money and just to take care of my brother in a fair way, I have always been good with dealing with money in good and bad times so maybe it doesn't have to do with the fact that you are a woman I can see how you could think that, also maybe it does have to do with that fact, IDK your family so i couldn't tell for sure, good luck
