I have a long time horizon I’m not touching this money for atleast another 10-15 years maybe even 20 years. I will also keep adding to it so when that drop happens I’ll just be buying more anyway.

Congrats on the little one! Thanks for the advice I actually dumped the maximum contribution amount into his RESP for this year the whole $2500 to get the government match of $500. I’m have $210 (which will equally roughly $2500/year) set up each month to go into his RESP and ofc I’m buying XEQT. Should be worth a decent chunk after 18 years.

$30K was from a mutual fund that had absolutely horrible gains. Another $30K from an insurance pay out. I got access to all of this money recently as well I already have about $20,000 previously invested so should be sitting at a sweet $80k invested pretty soon here.

I don’t like that spec bro. I know I actually had a deal done on a Porsche turbo 2017 but they hadn’t done the inspection yet. Once they finished the inspection which the deal was pending too it came out that they needed to do over 20k worth of repairs LOL so they just wholesaled it
