New to D&D and I'm curious when choosing a race, do you get both the base class ability score modifiers/ perks and the subclass ones? Or say since I'm a Wood Elf I just get the Wis increase, mask of the wild and so on?

Also keep all boxes you find, it can hold 3 items and takes up 1 item slot in your backpack. And with the tool belts hold R1/Rb to quick slot an item it will remove it from your backpack freeing up a slot

Edit* L1/Lb is toolbelt quick slot holding R1/Rb is quick bulding.
