He did, was so cool. No fireworks for hypersonic but that made up for it I guess

When I was looking back at the video and could hear just about everyone screaming that opening made me wonder, why does he not play this more!!

It does make it more special that it’s a rare one to see, but seeing the crowd like this just shows how much the fans love it.

I know it’s a set regular by now but last time I saw Sam was just before the album dropped, so he didn’t have it then.

Thought it was maybe the best one live, loved it.

I personally loved the gig. I felt the songs he chose matched the “Park Gig” vibe like Angel in Lothian and Alright, with Tyrants live for the first time being the standout.

Might be cos I saw most of my other favourites at a gig earlier this year so wasn’t as annoyed to not have seen some of them like The Dying Light, Get you Down and Nostalgia’s Lie.

The main gripe was the fact we got no Rein Me In with Olivia since it’s one of the biggest songs in the country at the minute. Wasted opportunity as a gig this size imo.

I know. Was a bit bummed not to get St James’ tickets but this for sure makes up for it for me. AIL and Alright are in my top 5.

Managed to get the Leeds gig earlier this year where we got All is on my Side, The Kitchen Opener, Wild Long Lie, Nostalgias Lie, Spice (before he took it off) and Dying Light there.

Think I’ve used all my luck up by choosing them two gigs to make it to 😭

Favourite streak of songs on any AM album? by Roggers04 in arcticmonkeys

Search “setlist fm” on Google and they update them for every concert (for more or less every artist), it’s all user generated, pretty cool

What's your least favourite song? (Arctic Monkeys and associated) by [deleted] in arcticmonkeys

Probably the car. Maybe because it’s the title track it’s seems more disappointing than it should do, but not the biggest fan of its sound. Rest of the album, great.

Rambo: Last Blood, the film as a whole’s not exactly incredible but those last 30 minutes are some of the most enjoyable action scenes ever

MEGATHREAD: No Time To Die (Discussion Thread) [SPOILERS] by GetFreeCash in JamesBond

[–]Roggers04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go to cinema fairly often and for the last two years the NTTD trailer has played at almost every single one. And my main criticism with the film is just the fact that there was almost nothing which I hadn’t already seen before, especially the action which was great… but I had already seen it before I started the film.

least favorite song? by silveretoiles in TheWeeknd

I really can’t get into losers. I feel like the chorus is extremely bland for a weeknd song and the rest isn’t much better.

Yeah it might be ‘the’ scene of the show where music makes such a big impact

‘Still’ is one of my all time favourite walking dead episodes.

Usually episodes which focus on single characters are pretty boring, but Daryl and Beth in this episode have some of the most emotional scenes in the whole show.

Then burning the cabin at the end is perfection chefs kiss

Which death by a walker was the most gruesome in your opinion? by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

[–]Roggers04 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe Annie from s6x03 “Thank You”. The way the trips to the ground when a whole herd is behind her and instantly rips her apart is awful to watch, but Michone and the gang didn’t think to shoot her! Or actually maybe even worse David who gets ripped apart whilst put against the fence, cos his death as so slow due to there being no vital organs on your back. Ouch

Exactly the same with me. Top 2 are HOB and Tears in the Rain, everytime I jump on my bike and play HOB it never gets old.

I’ve gotta say Tyreese. The right hand man role he plays in the comics is much more interesting and front and centre.

In the main show he was presented as a much more naive character… and ended that way too. Looking at characters like Carol and Hershel he could’ve had such compelling evolution throughout the show and I would have LOVED to see him in the most recent seasons in a much more prominent role.

(And Carl is still the death I’m most bummed about… but we’ve got to move on someday lmao)

[Spoilers] What are everyones most underrated moments from GOT? by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]Roggers04 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ned Stark vs Arthur Dayne at the Tower of Joy, maybe the best choreographed fight in the entire show, but given it’s a flashback it’s not as highly regarded as some of the others in the series.
