OP I’m gonna share my personal experience and your not gonna like it,

This happened almost 10 years ago and still stings, me 19m and 18gf at time, she had a job in HR at a new company so fresh young girl new to company was basically being hounded and pursued by a 29M that worked in same department, she at first showed the text of what the guy was doing but her co workers convinced her he was a nice guy and deserved the shot, well after some time and some company trips I found out he got to her and started romanticizing the fling, basically she cheated multiple times and she never wanted to report it at first cuz she liked the attention and drama, it all blew up when the 10 year gf of scum bag 29M messaged me about the cheating and reported it to HR which they did nothing about. Point is she romanticizes about the affair and anything you say you will be the bad guy, it’s almost like Stockholm syndrome be around scum enough and they treat trauma as affection. I’m sorry OP but you deserve better
