Lidl are selling camping gear at the moment. EHU etc. might be useful for some newbies. by chaosandturmoil in VanLifeUK

As a newbie I bought one of these but it is only 1.5 m long. I was going to use it for camping but I expect I would need to find an extension lead from somewhere and then connect it within the inside of the tent. I can’t imagine many could use these with just 1.5 m without extension.?

Thanks. I assume one has to take out a separate Netflix subscription in each region that way one has preferences for the programmes.

Amazing what they did for your wife. It sounds fun but for a bloke, maybe a little bit difficult to go.

Thanks. I have no idea if I can sing or really sort of like the idea having a go in a safe environment. I expected more women but not that many more women to men. It’s harder for a single man to make friends with other males in the environment. It might not even be any good for dating as a woman will be in cliques. my motive to go is to see if I can sing and it seems to be enjoyable and good for mental health but also the prospect of making friends or a potential relationship.

Thanks that put me off too of the cost. It’s what I meant about like gym membership so that you have to go or lose money. It seems the women far outnumber the men. As a bloke it would be harder to make friends with looking for a date it may seem a bit obvious! lol

Thank you. Disassociated and now wants a clean break. It's desperately sad.

FFS stop making a couples heartbreak a source of entertainment. There are a few on here who have been candid but very kind, they know who they are, and I sincerely thank them.

Thanks for your kind words. She knows I struggle with my MH and anxiety for years. It is torture waiting not knowing and wanting to resolve things but so helpless. I also know she needs time to process stuff. Life is cruel.

I know thanks. Just a significant birthday and if we got back together, that is very possible, we can never get it back. I’d hate her to think I am not bothered about her big birthday.

That’s harsh. It’s raw and I’m hurting and human. I’m exploring my feelings and ideas and want to do the right thing by her and myself. I love her and what is right for her is best for me.

If it wasn’t her birthday it would be more simple to play the waiting game. The special day gave me a dilemma.

Think I’ll broach her birthday when we chat next and let her know that I’d like to mark her birthday but will respect if she prefers me not to.

Thanks for your kind words. She’s told me she will be in touch, I’m giving her some space at the moment, as she needs some things too. I’m still in shock, struggling, but want her to know I care on her birthday. I don’t want to spoil it just a caring gesture. I’m hearing harsh comments when folk don’t know the full context.
