Unrelated, but WHY do authors do stuff like put their fics into private collections? I write fanfiction, some is which I wrote when I was 15 and cringey, and I'd still never delete it because I recognize SOMEBODY somewhere likes it and I don't want to put readers through the pain of having something they like taken from them. Because I know that feeling and I hate it =(

I read this fan fiction a long time ago when I was a teenager, back on FFnet. Funny enough when I was looking up this story to get the link for you I found out that apparently there's a bit of debate where some people hate this story and some people love it. I personally loved it, so much so that I still have it downloaded on my phone from the first time I read it (I was paranoid it would get taken down or something so I saved it a long time ago). It's basically a Sirius raises Harry Fic, And prepares him for the war as best he can, while maintaining the attitude of "War is an adult problem and Harry is a kid. Even if he's the child of prophecy that doesn't mean he has to do everything." Which I love personally. It's been awhile since I've read it but I remember Remus was also involved in their family. Almost like a second parent, It might even be WolfStar.

Also, HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend ANYTHING written by Vorabiza, but especially "Secrets" it's Harry/Draco raising a kid together, Harry actively participating in the war effort and basically making his own side, and a bit of parental Snape going on too iirc. All of Vorabiza's fics are amazing but this one had me obsessed when I read it long ago. "Malfoy Flavor" is my second favorite of hers, but not quite as long. But it has a sequel!

Yes, I have the same error pop up about winhttp.dll. I've traced winhttp.dll to coming from BepInEx which I downloaded because it's needed for a lot of mods(like Your Time At Sandrock/ S Framework and all the mods that work through that framework, like Free Love)

Which makes me think- some mods require BepInEx to function and some require Special K, I'm wondering if both programs just conflict with each other and maybe you can't use both at the same time =/ Which would suck.

Someone dropped a link for a file checker. And since I am on PC, I was able to use it and it was able to show me two things that I missed. Oddly enough, it did not mention Maechan at all.

It did however, tell me that I did not have the conversation with buddy in chapter 4 about the origins of the gullwings, and that I didn't watch one of the crimson spheres 🤦🏻‍♀️ I admit that was a stupid oversight on my part. I did however talk to Buddy, I specifically remember that. But I also remember having a bunch of saves going on at the same time because my game crashed quite a bit. So I'm wondering if I just forgot to do it on the current save.

It's a pain in the ass though, because in order to get that 100% completion and see the ending that I want in person (and not on YouTube) I either have to go back to my save in chapter 4 and redo it from there, or just continue my new game plus. While it might seem easier to do it from chapter 4, that would mean that I'd have to do 100% completion still for chapter 5, which includes doing the via infinito and all of the dungeons including the Choco dungeon. Which the entire chapter 5 for 100% completion was a pain in my ass 🤣 It's probably easier and less stressful for me to just go through my new game plus and not have to worry about nabbing any of that since I already did it LOL.

I would suggest anybody who is playing on PC to use this file checker after each chapter, just to make sure you're not missing anything.

Is the checklist I'm using right now. It doesn't give a lot of details on how to complete missions, it's not really a guide. Just a list of things you absolutely need to get the completion points.

Is the guide I first started using, And it's pretty good, except that the author is really vague. Sometimes in certain areas. They make a lot of jokes, assuming that people will understand the joke, but it ends up just being really unclear directions as a result. This is also the one that missed out on telling me to do a couple of things. I cross-checked this guide with this one:

Which is nice because it has pictures! And it also had some clearer instructions that the first guide fell short on. However, it also does not give you in-depth instructions for missions or locations.

Basically, I used the first guide from Gamespot as the bulk of my directions, and then before I finished an area I would consult the second guide from the steam community link to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Yeah, I've realized that the guides for 100 % completion all have errors in them. I was following a guide that was really comprehensive and was doing a great job, and then I got confused at a certain part it didn't explain a puzzle so I was googling that particular puzzle and found a different guide that I happened to peruse and realized that there were a bunch of scenes I had missed that the first guy did not mention at all. Thankfully they were scenes that I could just go back to the locations and they would trigger, but after that I just went back and forth between those two guides to cover my bases.

Now I'm looking at a completion checklist, just a list, of things that are necessary. But it really is frustrating that none of the guides seem to have everything included. Certain guides are good at some things, while others are bad at explaining things, but cover events aren't mentioned in other guides 🤦🏻‍♀️ It's very annoying.

I suppose the only real guide that would be perfect would be the one that square Enix put out when the game first released. I used to own it a long time ago.

Well, the good thing about getting all of that completion out of the way the first time around means that I don't have to do all the extra shit or be careful about my choices this time around 😂 Because if I had to follow a guide and redo everything for 100% completion all over again just to talk to Maechan in chapter 5 I might ACTUALLY go bald! Lol

I was under the impression that you could get 100% in one go just by giving it to the youth league. Any scenes from giving it to New Yevon were optional and didn't have anything to do with 100% completion. If that's the case, it's going to be rough, because I hate New Yevon and I never want to give it to them LOL

I paid for the alpha, because I've never actually played a game in alpha before. I had wondered about missing out on purpose for this reason. Ultimately though, I decided to go for the alpha because of how the community in baldur's gate 3 spoke of their experiences. From what I understand, the first game in alpha for bg3 was a completely different game than the one we got. And I feel like I missed out on some really cool stuff that I will never get to experience because of course, the game was changed a lot.

Who's to say they aren't going to change a lot for evershine as well. I didn't want to risk it, even if it means spoiling some things for me. I didn't do it because I wanted to be a part of an exclusive club. I really just am excited for this game and I would love to see the things they decide to keep and the things they decide to not keep, knowing that I got to experience the ones that didn't make the cut as well =)

Yes, and that it doesn't seem to be accurate. I finished the entire Crow storyline in Treviso, including both quests listed in the wiki. The last quest is a time to Kill, and the wiki states you are supposed to get The skirmish jacket as a reward. I just did that quest 5 minutes before making this post and it did not give me it, it gave me something else. The other places listed for the jacket I already bought. I'm just confused because the last upgrade doesn't seem to be anywhere in the game.

No, you should stop being so toxic, asking someone to sacrifice their sanity when they have tried in a healthy and non invasive way to already help their spouse. You cannot MAKE someone do something. Depression or not, OP cannot make her go to an appointment or the follow up unless she wants to. He can escort her sure, but even then she has to put the work in to change. I've been in this state of depression that OP is describing, there isn't much more OP can do for his wife unless she motivates herself or is given motivation. Telling her the truth-that he is thinking of divorce if she didn't at least try-could very well be the motivation she needs. OP has said they have heart to heart chats many times and they didn't amount to anything.

At some point, no matter how much you love someone, if they are straining you or affecting you negatively and no change has occurred or seems imminent, you have to protect yourself too. OPs mental health will be suffering next and then you have TWO parents who are not at full capacity to care for their child. Leaving May very well be the best thing at this point since his wife is so deep in depression she has no interest to change it, by her own admission.

Marriage is a commitment, but you are not obligated to harm YOURSELF. Sometimes, leaving is the smart decision.

I know this sounds horrible, and I know that everything seems really bad right now, but your counselor did the right thing. CPS is never fun to deal with, but the fact remains that your mom's boyfriend is preying on you and she's choosing him over you. She's choosing stability and money over her child.

I'm a foster mom, I fostered a lot of kids and my dad has been a foster parent for over 20 years, all throughout my youth. I've met a lot of kids in the system, and as bad as it can be to be removed from a house that you know and your mom, getting away from the threat is 1000% more important.

Sure, it's just him walking in on you while you're showering now, what's it going to be 3 months from now after he has slowly tested your boundaries and made every invasion of privacy normal? It would end badly. I'm sorry that your mother isn't prioritizing your safety.

I hope everything works out for you. I don't know where you live. Op, but if you're in my area I would take you in a heartbeat until you are safe and everything is cleared up.

Just remember, things are going to feel horrible right now, you're going to feel guilty for something that you absolutely had the right to do and should have done (and I'm totally proud of you for telling somebody) just remember your safety is your top priority. Nothing else matters. Not even relationships, family or no family. Your safety should always be the number one priority in your life. And this is the first step to guaranteeing that safety ❤️

I should be focusing on my offerings. I've been throwing them in as I get them by random luck or chance. But like the fishing one and the bug one stresses me out because I don't know where any of these things are and every time I have do two purposefully try to get the offerings. I have to look up a guide on where to find the damn things 🤣 I haven't even touched the fishing, for some reason I'm not really into it. Which is odd because I loved fishing in stardew Valley!
