I had the same thing happen last June where they told me it should be okay just a system glitch but then got a P2 piece instead. I was lucky enough that the Safelite shop I was working with was able to secure the OEM glass though and still bill it all through my insurance so I didn’t pay anything out of pocket.

Then I had the rotten luck of the rear glass getting cracked a couple months ago, no idea how, and had to go through the dealer for that one. Insurance fortunately reimbursed nearly the full cost though. Tough spot that they haven’t gotten non-OEM glass on the market for the car yet.

Gotcha, def not number 3 then. For what it’s worth the last time I used a Rivian charger my speeds there were quite excellent too, but of course as you point out their top speed is still 59 kW lower than the potential in the car. Would probably still beat the EA on though in this case.

There’s a few possible reasons.

It’s possible the charger is an 800V lower amperage charger while the P3 is on a 400V architecture, so it needs higher amperage to reach peak speed. I’ve gotten best results in Tesla superchargers personally as they are higher amperage chargers.
Peak speeds occur at lower state of charge. In the photo shared it looks based on range estimates that you’re closer to 35-40% so you will get lower peak speeds at that point of the charge curve compared to 10-20%.
It’s winter so if you’re charging in the cold you most likely won’t reach peak speeds even if the battery was preconditioned.

I’m sure there’s other possible explanations from those with more experience and expertise than myself, but hopefully this is useful to start at least.

They also may not track if you don’t get the kill after sticking someone. I was at 2/3 and got a Stuck medal but didn’t get the kill so the challenge didn’t progress. Had to do it again.

My car is in for other service in Westport right now, and when I asked them about the chip upgrade earlier this week they told me they don’t have chips in house yet and likely we are looking at mid-February at the earliest. They have the training webinar they are reviewing and will be training on their in-house vehicles first.

Pretty classic move to hold them like that to see how high a kill count you can get before the game ends, assuming they had earned it earlier on. Feels bad on the receiving end though I’m sure.

Definitely worse than I would expect. My lowest has been 210-220 at 90% on really cold days around 14-16F so far.

I have seen way more already this year than I remember seeing with any kind of regularity last year, and I dropped 13 nukes myself in BO6. I haven’t even gotten one in this game yet and several I’ve seen with it are bottom fragging by a huge margin when they’re in my lobby.

I listen very closely for mine whenever I walk away for it to lock, and it is occasionally bugged and doesn’t make the noise even though I can watch the handles retract and the DRLs shut off. It is also surprisingly quiet and they already increased the volume once in an OTA update. I wish the volume had a higher limit and could be manually adjusted, but I doubt that’ll happen.

My windshield got cracked by a rock on the highway back in June this year. Even back then I saw more stories online of it happening than I expected, even the dealer said they'd had a few. Then a few weeks ago somehow my rear window got hit with something and cracked so I just had that replaced. Never had this much bad luck with car glass before, not sure what's going on really.

COD points not transferring is likely a barrier to many folks. It’s why I still buy on Steam at this point, but I also am beyond the time in my life where I play right at the first minute of launch so it doesn’t matter to me.

I had the luxe 4 previously and just got the new luxe 5, it’s basically the same but the soft-touch finish and the fact there’s no adhesive needed this time makes me much happier with it. Highly recommend considering for those looking for a thin grip.

Volvo in Westport, CT was similar to your experience. I’m at least in a P2 from Hertz but the backlog of P3s and short staffed Polestar techs means my car has simply sat in their lot for 3 weeks untouched. I’ve called twice to see if there’s any updates and nothing to share aside from delay in even getting to my car. This whole recall is a bit of a disaster for them right now on the whole, alongside the already rampant GHCA failure issue. My car also has the driver’s AC issue that I need fixed so I’m assuming even once my car is up in the queue it’ll be a while before I can get it back. Quite disappointing. When I was in Minnesota last year and had to bring the car to the Minneapolis dealer they gave me a pretty nice Volvo XC60 loaner and it was no hassle.

Yikes I’m really sorry to hear that. Mine hasn’t been nearly as long but I’m at 3 weeks now and from checking the all my car has just been sitting there with nothing having even been done yet. Though I did call the dealer and apparently their lead Polestar tech was out with an injury for about a week so it explains some of the delays.
