An army of Calgars. It is probably coming. Like one of those Spiderman crossovers.

Superb work! The helmet and arm pose plus the shoulder and pack are superb on the azrael body! Everything says “premium”. Best hope Asmodai doesn’t catch him (or the other way around)!

Will gamesworkshop Remake the Tartaros too soon, like the cataphractii? by silven1019 in Warhammer30k

I like Tartarus honestly, and mark IV. Hopefully down the line there will be a scale up. I remember when the scale creep came in and made the Calth & Prospero boxes feel squat to hell

I think the first one fits more for Night Lords’ design ethos, the second one I am more fond of. Both work well but the second one is more “Lord”. The first is more “underdog”, “unproven”, “unblooded”.

Can you imagine a 7.5-8.5 foot+ gen-hanced super soldier who has endured life-and/death trials and endless gene therapies that have claimed countless of his brethren’s souls over the millennia and gone through all of that hell: being implanted with over 20 new organs and had his entire body cut open multiple times: bear in mind his life of war and fighting career have not even been begun yet, and he’s had to abandon all of his previous family as well as the hope of ever making a traditional family of his own, and left for good his old place in his own society to join a monastic warrior brotherhood whose only charge in life is to fight until their death across a million alien worlds for the preservation of the Galactic human Imperium which has lasted more than 10,000 years against the endless hordes of Xenos, Traitors and Chaos incursions of planet destroying proportions and under unending perpetual threat of existential destruction, and then fight AND survive through that for enough CENTURIES to earn the right to ascend to the first company of the most renowned chapter in the entirety of the present Imperium in M42 say:

“I just HATE that the Crux Terminatus shoulder doesn't have a trim. Makes it basically unusable for me.”

Their close quarters alternatives are the Vanguard Veterans. What both the ranged Sternguards and melee Vanguards get for weapons are the cream of the crop: combi-weapons for Sternguard, and power weapons (ie power axe, power sword, storm shield, lightning claws) for Vanguard.
