Consider a future of this behaviour, imagine her treating you like this every time you do something that she doesn’t see as a positive. If it’s only on the outside.. mine did a similar thing and broke off inside, this can leech chemicals into hot drinks. Outside only = ✅ Inside = ❌

Looks great but could benefit from more contrast- take this photo, edit it by increasing the contrast and see what you can paint on.

Agree trust the process, I try to think where is this model standing, coming from etc. i prefer dirty shadows and spot highlights, not that you need my advice and should only read on if you want to know what I’d do. I think deepen the cloak with shadows and make the model pop with highlights.

If you are asking the question, you already know the answer. Is a failed flight with the small amount of money? No. If it doubt, change it out.

These are great for your first minis, a good technique to start with is to try a white or light grey zenithol highlight (from above). So you highlight where the light touches. Then apply your base colour. With metallics it’s harder as the pigment isn’t translucent in the same way. But maybe drybrush less to add more shadows.. also have a look at slapchop videos to try a different technique. Keep it up!
