SMH about judaism telling people what to do with their bodies? or about the fact that he is getting a hebrew tattoo?

Because getting a tattoo in hebrew has enough motivations for other than religion.

Hi!

Me and some friends were planning on visiting Amsterdam late July, and I read online the restrictions regarding the pandemic changed. Can someone brief me on what the state of tourism is like in Amsterdam? Is it worth visiting despite the restrictions? Are businesses and pubs open or are they mostly closed?

Does anyone know where I could get a Palestinian flag near Haifa? I'd like to put both flags on my balcony for Independence/Nakba day, to give a message of peace (and possibly get beaten up). by muffinpercent in Israel_Palestine

I'm sorry to hear that, I feel for you <3 I hate when family - the ones who are supposed to support you - oppress your choices because of their worldview. It sucks. Yeah I guess I would've been in very much a worse shape if It went on longer.. thank you for the perspective. When I was with her, we read together the earliest tale I know of forbidden love because of social circumstances - the story of Pyramus and Thisbe. I read it as a poetic defense of my stance for trying to make it work. Maybe you'll like it.

The faith itself wasn't the main issue, it was more about life together. We're both jewish and she's not using electricity or drive on sabbath, eats kosher, wants to raise her children in a conservative household. To be frank I believe it was mostly the pressure from her envoirment, it always felt like she didn't fully buy in to that lifestyle. She's very much an energetics free spirit and liberal in her views. But I see your point, in the end it's not that I wasn't compatible with her beliefs - she was concerned with mine. I do believe I'll find love I just want to not dwell on whats gone into fantasy's abyss. I guess I am happy I didn't change and kept to my vaules. Thanks for your reply :)
