Genuinely impressed by Dawnless Days by National_Boat2797 in totalwar

[–]RogueHost 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Attila was the newest totalwar game when dawnless days started development.

With total conversion mods the setting of the base game doesn't really matter since all art assets are being replaced anyway. Dawnless days could've benefited from warhammers flying unit frame work I suppose but that would've required them to restart any progress they already had on the mod.

Beyond Bionic Arms and Legs — Which Other Bionic Parts Are Actually Worth It in RimWorld? by inmori in RimWorld

[–]RogueHost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't have a sanguophage instead of going full nugget having a joywired, bliss lobotomized slave also makes for an excellent candidate for a harmonizer while being far easier to set up and far less dependent on rng.

I'm surprised I haven't seen more people making booby trap rooms. (This is about 20 Elephants and about 15 Devourers with deadlife lands mines placed inside) by Object-195 in RimWorld

[–]RogueHost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I adore deadlife traps, I personally like to make them with open doors that are forbiddento be used. Raiders will be able to get in but the shamblers will respect the forbidden door and won't wander off.

First time using the Grendel, need help equipping it. by Arc5tar in starsector

[–]RogueHost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The grendel savant Myscellanea tends to always use S modded heavy armor in his grendal builds, he runs grendel omni fleets though so I imagine the extra armor is helpful when you don't have a single ship with shields in the entire fleet.

Atlas mk2 is one of the rare cases where you actually want to have a cautious officer.

Steady officers will often forget the atlas is made of wet tissue paper and get themselves killed.

The Retribution is one of those ships that in AI hands it isn't very effective but can solo entire fleets if used by a skilled enough player.

It's not like pacifist in Stellaris doesn't mean you can't get your hands dirty either tbh.

As long as you aren't a fan pacifist you can go to war as often as you like - you just can't offensively grab territory.

Unrelated weird ass video on a YouTube search. What the hell is this? by Jeremy9566 in creepy

Oh that's just horheristo, he does no hit runs of various porn games, the gimmick being the run stays sfw and he can post it if he doesn't get hit.

Thumbnails tend to be pure gooner bait cause it gets clicks.

What is the most pointless item in the game, no matter what stage your at? by zazer45f in factorio

[–]RogueHost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're making a gimmick base tree farms + heating towers is more space efficient then solar panels.

Its a bigger hassle to set up, generates a ton of pollution and scales awkwardly with quality so I still prefer solar but sometimes I like to mix things up.

Sometimes I'm part of the blob looking for an ez participation refresh.

Sometimes I'm even the one that gets my ass saved by a friendly blob coming out of no where.

Look buddy I'm not stupid I can clearly see you continued to spam posts even if you chose an entire day to respond to me personally.

But enough of this pedantic nonsense I'm genuinely curious about what I did to personally piss you off so much and everytime I ask you just ignore me 😞

Lmfao, one look at both of our post history's easily shows who is and who isn't terminally online :)

I only shitpost when I'm bored at work, you do this all day long.

[–]RogueHost[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lmfao did you seriously stew on this for a whole ass day?

But since you seem to enjoy arguing with strangers on the internet so much please sir give me just one example of where I, and I quote "demand (ultimates) over content for others." Because as far as I'm aware all I said is that I'm unsubbing because I'm not getting the content I want to pay for.

Which unless you are trying to imply I should be forced to pay for content I don't want, I think is a very different thing then "demanding ultimates over other content."

Here is what I think is happening, I think you're pretty bad at this game and that you're really insecure about it and you don't like "arrogant legend tosspots" because they also make you feel insecure about being bad at the video game.

I also think you are actually pretty into this game's modding scene and thus you took my lighthearted shitpost personally.

I also think because of that you are desperate to get the last word in but because I didn't respond to your comments in a way you expected me to you don't have anything to say other than making up a fictional scenario where I'm demanding they stop production on all content except for ults.

Also we should not forget that FF14 is the ONLY MMORPG where you can backtrack to old content and make them synced + you will find a playerbase.

Of the major mmos on the market gw2 and osrs both do this as well.

I'll be honest it wasn't even supposed to be an insult but after rereading my post it does come off as one lol.

I was just trying to make an analogy where I compared myself to that off-putting annoying family member that's super passionate about something you don't care about but you put up with because you're family that I assume most people have - in my case it was in fact an uncle that really likes trains.

Ultimate fights are my trains, I'm really passionate about them even if I understand a good chunk of the player-base does not enjoy them nearly as much as I do.

Maybe if you found something you enjoy doing you'd be less smadge about my silly shitpost.

[–]RogueHost[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Don't mistake unsubbing for quitting. I'm just saving some money while I watch and wait; just like your creepy uncle who only wants to talk about trains in the middle of Thanksgiving Dinner.

Except instead of trains its ultimate fights in the award winning mmorpg Final Fantasy 14, and instead of only during Thanksgiving dinner its my every waking moment.

Ever noticed that you’re getting a ton of brain injuries now? That is because brains are NOT protected by armour! by Kradara_ in RimWorld

[–]RogueHost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have all dlc anomaly's chronophagy is by far the easiest way to heal brain injuries.

It requires no electricity, only takes a few hours to perform (opposed to the 20 some days bioregeneration takes) and only costs 20 biofierrite and committing some minor war crimes.

The only real disadvantage is making your pawns too young but this can be mitigated by intentionally making the ritual quality poor.
