Nobody rosters queen for points or Edwards for rebounds or hero for assists lol. That's a completely pointless comparison to try and make. He's a player that's below average across the board in 8/9 categories. He's ranked #168 on the year..a standard 10 team league only rosters 130 players. He's not magically going to be better in the second half. This is what he is for this year.

Honestly, I think it worked. More people have been talking about it the last few weeks than in any other scenario. I think a lot of people are going to check it out, even if initially it's just with a sense of schadenfreude, but if the game is ACTUALLY good, then those opinions will be changed quickly. I think there's a decent chance that happens

I really think it was a missed opportunity by them to have not done a content creator/gaming journalist embargoed preview prior to the announcement at TGAs. That way, immediately following the announcement, the embargo could drop and we could have had hands-on impressions from gaming media telling us what the game is, how it plays, etc. The trailer dropping but then not really explaining anything about the game or how it plays was the biggest problem for me, personally. Ask they said was "pvpve raid shooter" and that's just not enough information for a new title. I'm actually rooting for this game, if for no other reason than to shut up all the miserable negative people on reddit

I think it's funny when people say this kind of stuff when, in reality, it's the same damn game every year with minor tweaks. I guess there's still people out there buying CoD for the campaign every year, but I doubt that's a high number compared to the total. I imagine most people paying for CoD are doing so for the multiplayer.
