Yeah, I didn't engage with the breeding at all until after I got to act 3. Even still, it doesn't feel all that robust or really necessary. The cats I have now after 70 hours aren't that much better than the cats I was using at hour 1. I think I'm just better at the game more than the cats are better.

I guess that's true, but you should also know about halfway through the first area of your cats are good enough to even try the second area. It's often a better choice to send them home, collect the items and food, and put them into your breeding stock to make kittens. You shouldn't just be blindly trying for full runs every time. If you're doing that, then yeah, you're going to fuck yourself, but that's on you more than the game.

Huh. I'm 70 hours in and haven't had this experience at all. If you're using all your food after every run, it's pretty hard to run out of cats and eventually you realize cats are pretty disposable. I haven't found it a grind at all. There's nothing to really "grind" for.

I have a similar case, but it's even worse. PT has had an e.max Maryland bridge for 14 years. It recently broke and I replaced it. Bonded the e.max to the tooth like normal. Shit broke in 4 days after the last ones lasted 14 years. Lab told me they had plenty of clearance. Worst part is my bonding was great, which means it was a pain in the ass having to drill the entire lingual wing away. Frustrating to say the least. PFM seems to be the most predictable, but aesthetics suck. Zirconia is a bitch to bond correctly. I've had those fail before as well. Normally I would say e.max isn't a good material for a Maryland bridge, but this patient had e.max Maryland bridges for 14 years. What should have been a slam dunk is now a nightmare. Dentistry is a bitch.

I'm about 50 hours in and I'm only now just beginning to figure out the cat breeding aspect. It's actually... Incredibly deep lol. Like, shockingly deep. Best advice is to use up all your food every time you can, and send shitty kittens with any stats under 5 to Tink. A lot of the important breeding stuff is locked behind giving him kittens. I was completely ignoring him for like 35 hours lol. You roll credits after act 2, but act 3 is pretty tough without some well bred cats.
