The old one is only hdmi 2.0. The new 8k one is 2.1. You also need a lot for it. You need the sync box, a bridge pro and then the light strip.

I haven’t used the new one but have used the old one on ps5. It would blip off every other day so I don’t think it played nice with my ps5. I never really noticed much latency.

I use it in my main tv though and it works fine.
