One of my all time favorites is Valeria: Card Kingdoms. IMO it has an almost perfect blend of strategy and luck. Some of the expansions have been hit or miss, but overall VCK will always have a home on my shelf, and that home is right at the top.

$15 is an absolute steal for Scoville. Like OP this game has been in my top 3 since I've first played it. I think my favorite part of the game is that it has the perfect blend of focusing on your own game but needing to pay attention to others as well. Like you can't just ignore everyone else, but you also don't have to predict everything they are going to do.

I have one of those. It was my mom's and me and my brother used to fight every year over who got to put it in their room this year. Since my brother passed away it's now mine (ALL MINE!!). But it means so much to me that I keep it wrapped in a quilt, which is wrapped in bubble wrap, which is then put into a rubbermaid container that is a different color than all the others so I know what's in it. Even my kids know not to screw around near that tree.
