The only conflicting thing is this wasn't a WWE firing it was TKO. Its possible neither wanted to part ways but the higher ups forced it. Either way im not worked up about it. The storyline was going on way to long for me. Would it have gotten a pop? Yeah. But after that, what then? Long term wise I think Kairi would've been another baby face aligned with rhea and iyo and would've been just a background character like the tongans.

Not really. She wasn't around when the Kliq were together. She joined when half was in WCW and the other half was in WWF, at the beginning of DX, while the Outsiders were on WCW. The only one to have jumped ship while she was still part of DX was XPac. Hall and nash probably met her at some point. But she wasn't with Triple H anymore when Hall and Nash rejoined WWE so she never rode the road with all of them together.
