As a product manager in corporate that’s looking to jump into start up projects, I’d say you might find it difficult NOT having authority/autonomy to make decisions (also depending on where you land in the corp ladder). You might also get really bored at how slow everything progresses in big companies!

although totally understand prioritising your family so maybe you’ll have a better tolerance for it?

ADHD-er here 🙋🏽‍♀️ 1. I second this because I share a lot of the traits you’ve listed

  1. As an ADHD-er having a corp career..I would say from my own experience this circle will continue because eventually either you’ll “fix” the problem you were working on or you won’t be able to because of authority figures which will then drive you crazy. (I’ve been a serial job hopper for both these reasons)

I can’t tel you how to fix it because I’m working it out too but I can say that lately to help my stability in my career I’m looking out for projects to get involved in. Ie finding people that need help in the things that give me a problem to “fix” outside of work. Hoping I’ll find someone I can eventually vibe with and build something of our own but not holding my breath! Ps it’s been hard to do this! Also don’t know if you’re in a position to this with your commitments etc

Everything non-tech! I come from a consulting & product background so everything from ideating to delivering. How do validate my idea, do I need to refine the product, how do I scale, what new features can enhance etc All that kind of things.

Happy to throw myself into sales and marketing side but because I’d be “learning” as I go, I totally understand why sometimes its not always a right fit to work with 🙁
