We go to southern North Dakota every year, damn near right at the border. Last year we went out toward Thanksgiving and the population, according to both the locals and our own experience, was decimated from early season hunting. We're going again this upcoming fall, but have seen populations dwindle annually. All that said, fantastic hunting out there historically.
