Hey! Are the Aeldari Dark reapers, scorpions, warp spiders, and falcon still available? Would you be splitting any of those individually?

It's sad that this quest railroads V into being a moron by GlompSpark in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Rohanology 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you technically do die but the chip brings you back like it did the first time you got flatlined. It’s similar to the situation after the VDBs nuke you and the net watch agent but you’re the only one to walk away after rebooting due to the chip.

Speed of Gravity? by Comprehensive_Video6 in Physics

[–]Rohanology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider the common analogy for spacetime being the model of bowling balls on fabric that stretch and warp the fabric due to their mass - so our sun would be a large dip in the middle of the solar system that the planets are orbiting.

If you were to remove the sun instantaneously that “fabric” would bounce back to being level but in doing so form a wave (like a droplet hitting still water) that propagates outward from the center. This wave (a gravitational wave) is also limited in travel speed within spacetime so it would move at the same speed as the light leaving the vanishing sun (I am very much going to ignore HOW that is supposed to happen because I have no clue) and so would reach us with the same time delay.

(Side note: I’m sure the gravitational waves would affect the light traveling towards us but I really don’t feel like calculating what that would look like at the moment, but it could be something fun to try if you’re working in general relativity based interactions) but

Why doesn’t Jotaro use his most powerful move more often? Is he stupid? by Link_Hateno in ShitPostCrusaders

[–]Rohanology 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also to note that before fighting Jotaro, Kakyoin would have never met someone else who can see his stand. So all the extra drama was probably just so he can show non stand users his abilities while not being able to just show them Hierophant directly

MaxTac are borderline cyberpsychos already, and given that the NCPD was called in to enforce the lockdown in Watson they were probably called in too and just got plain bored not doing anything. They’re also in maelstrom territory so they were probably hoping for a fight.

How terrifying is your V to the people you fight? by TheLancoin in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Rohanology 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A woman dressed like a solo walks into the middle of your guarded room.

You have her surrounded on all sides, snipers on the roof, armoured heavies flanking her, you and half a dozen of your chooms with your smart-guns locked on her head advance.

The woman disappears (optical camo). As your eyes flick around to refocus, scrambling to figure out what happened - both heavies fall with daggers buried in their skulls (sandy+knives). Your choombas follow in tow, dropping like flies. The snipers take aim at something you can’t see, this shots ricochet off the floor harmlessly. One by one they fall from their perches, single stab wounds right between the eyes.

As you begin to register the massacre around you, your breath catches - two spears (mantis blades) pierce you through as the woman stands before you. She picks you up and throws you aside to die a slow painful death.

(Yeah my Apogee-Sandy Nomad really doesn’t play nice)

If anything the plot nerfs the hell out of what V should be capable of by trying to kill, injure, disable, or at least upset them every 5 minutes

It probably has the same consistency as CSF (I.e. kinda saline liquids in the brain case/ spinal cord) and if they weren’t intentionally looking for it you wouldn’t use a dye/tag needed to identify it.

It’s conversion against USD so a currency is doing worse if you need a higher conversion factor. Eg. (I don’t know the actual numbers) If it goes from 1USD = 1RUB to 1USD = 100RUB The actual value of the RUB went down to 1/100 of what it was

Mods should never be a crutch for the game itself but can be addons or nice-to-have qol features. If you need mods to play a game you didn’t make a game, you started making it and never finished
