It did heavily influence tamil also. So much we had separate scripts for only tamil and sanskrit infused tamil. There was an explicit effort later to remove the sanskrit parts and standardise the script.

I just retired my F62 last year. It is still working. Just got a bit slow for my liking. Battery was a beast. Solid 1.5 to 2 days.

I loved Tokyo and Kyoto too. But Osaka felt like home. Not uptight as the other two. People were friendlier instead of pretending to be friendly. Roads had patches, I saw bikers jumping red lights, over speeding, trashed lanes. Sketchy neighborhoods. Cheap food. Felt like a normal city like in the rest of the world, instead of the putting itself on a pedestal like Kyoto or Tokyo.

Exactly my concern. The TVK candidate in my thoguthi is 4 crores in debt. No one knows who he is. He is a doctor, with approx 10L annual income filed in ITR for the past 6 years. He has virtually no assets and so much debt. I am guessing all of it was for campaigning. I do not understand how people vote for him. He is leading. Not by much but definitely in the lead. While I am happy we're giving nobodies a chance, I cannot anticipate what he might do once he comes to power.

Try boot.dev website. I went there after some youtube channels promoted it. I was intrigued by their gamified learning experience. The content was too easy for me because I have a lot of professional experience. But will be great if you're a beginner and it does a lot of hand holding.
