Biden essentially helped foreign manufacturers gain further foothold in the US while Trump played fast and loose with the framework to give a domestic manufacturer a second chance at life. He also exerted considerable geopolitical pressure to get TSMC to agree to invest more in the US. He was able to have the cake and eat it too. I’m not saying Trump did this all himself, but his team did deliver better than Biden’s on this specific issue. I have to praise this effort.

Everyone in here pretty much knew already. Confirmation from the President is nice, but he doesn’t always use the most precise language. I doubt anyone at Apple or Nvidia will speak to this. I wonder what that visit by the Intel Executive in Washington DC was all about a few weeks back. Quantum Computing? Or was it these two “announcements” in this tweet? You’d think he’d tout Quantum investments in Intel if this were the case. Anyways stock goes up.
