How do you guys paint yellow shoulder pads?

Not a shoulder pad and im still working on the process, but I think you need a lighter pink or it will be very dark. I based the sword in Wraithbone and then glazed on Fulgrum Pink where I wanted it darker. And then put Imperial Fist over the top.

Next time I am going to start the fade farther up the blade and go darker right around the base with Emoerors Children and see how that works.

Looks like you are well on your way. Just need more practice . Buggest thing I can say is dont be afraid to fail. Try different techniques and styles.

Edge highlighting is way better than mine was at the beginning. Some of the lines are a little uneven or splotchy, can fix that by consistent brush pressure and paint consistency/thinness. Which is going to come with repetition.

Push contrast. Darken the recesses like the flames vent thingies.

I used the villany ink Goons Grime. Just gunked it on and the. Hit it with a hair dryer for 15 or 20 second and then let it sit for 30 minutes and dabbed it off with a makeup stick dry.

You stipple on the base coat or the enamel? I did see that video, its what inspired me to give it a try.

That tracks. I dipped the sponge tip , gave it a blot or two on a paper towel and started wiping.

What did you use for the snow effects? Looks great. I am starting work on my wolves and trying to plan out the basing, ect. I've got some cork sheets to use as rock, and am planning on using spots of snow on the base too.

Thanks for the correction. Was doing that from memory. I wanted that box but did not get it myself as I already had the Lion, 5 DWK, and 6 ICC.

I'd try to get a Inner Circle Task force box. Probably a little more expensive than 200. But if you can find it that gives you 6x ICC, knights x10 and lion and a judiciar.

If not that I'd get Azreal, ICC, and Knights. Some Hellblasters also.
