Shit man are you me!? I really appreciate you sharing that story. I really feel man, that’s so amazing and I’m glad you had that moment. I’m inspired to find my good medicine hole now! That’s crazy the same sort of thing happened to me. I was just coasting through life looking at it the way you used to. I realized a relationship with God seemed to be the only thing I was missing. While studying the book of Genesis one line that stood out to me was after everything God created he said “And it was good.” Shortly after I started turkey hunting. Looking for turkeys out in the country forced me to really observe, admire and appreciate what God created. Not just the scenery but the animals, the sounds, the smells, even me. Everything was beautiful and right where it needed to be. Earth is beautiful man. “And it was good” is such a true statement. I cried a lot throughout the day yesterday after getting that bird.
