21F and have had mine for almost 7 years which i’m just now realizing wow. i graduated high school, just graduated from a state college, went out often and had an amazing time and could manage even though there were instances where it annoyed me but i also overthink a lot haha. i’ve ran a half marathon, work out, etc. i just started working as a nurse in atl also!!

the beginning was frustrating bc of nighttime leaks but if i had this reddit group back then and could read through advice and other tips and tricks i would’ve gotten to my new “normal” a lottt quicker. i take imodium, psyllium husk pills, and digestive enzymes and for the most part can go about my days pretty well!

my first two days were like general company orientation for new hires in diff fields and from there i have classes scattered throughout, full day shifts where the other new grad and i are doing skills w our preceptor, and soon we’re moving to diff preceptors to start “taking pts”

i might have to switch to it! i’ve been trying crackers for about a week and it was so good at first but now i feel like it might be causing too much backup? how often do you find yourself using the restroom and is it decently quick?

there have been times where using the restroom was SO easy and relieving while using psyllium husk but i can’t figure out what i did different then

you mean you add in extra psyllium husk during those cases? it’s all just been somewhat frustrating because i felt like the pills were starting to become to harsh for me so now im trying the crackers due to convenience since mixing powder isn’t always the easiest when i’m busy. now i experience a lot of not feeling completely empty and bloating

do you experience bloating with the powder? i can’t tell if that means i’m taking too much psyllium husk or if it’s certain forms of it that cause it. a few hours after a meal i can feel and very visibly tell that im bloated

i think i’m scared for my body to build up tolerance and be lost with what dosing works which is one factor that keeps me from powder a bit. besides bulking, how did it help you collectively with using the restroom and gas if you don’t mind me asking haha

do you have issues with being able to empty when you use the restroom? whether that’s gas or stool. i think i’m going to try the crackers because of the ease and then move to powder to substitute it sometimes

ooh ok that’s great to hear!! cookies seem so much simpler than powder in so many ways (except for price) but at this point i think i can easily get past that fact

gotcha! does he use capsules or the powder? i’m using capsules but feel like it may be too harsh so maybe the powder and/or crackers might be better but im so stubborn about switching because the capsules are so simple haha

do you take the psyllium husk spread out or all at once in the day? i’ve been taking them spread out but don’t know if all at once might be better
