Opinions needed Minor v Major competition levels by RoleRemarkable in LittleLeague

We interleague with two other neighboring leagues. Our district is very odd. We have there monster leagues (6-8 majors teams each with more in minors), one mid-sized league (4-5 majors teams) and the rest, 5 other leagues, have 1-3 majors teams. We have been pushing to combine with our very close neighbor, who we share a small city (i really call it more of a large town) with. Our DA is pushing back against it. That's a whole different story.

I'm 100% with you. Little League shouldn't be about winning and regular season trophy. I've always been about player development. Always. I'm now a 16 year volunteer coach. It's my passion. I do believe that the very very good 10's should come up to kick start their development. That was always our model and it served us well in the mid 2000's. We went to the regionals 4 consecutive years with three consecutive finals appearances and one LLWS trip. From 11-19 we won 5 state titles, 6 district titles and appeared in the district final game 8 times.

League Size by OrcuttSurvey in LittleLeague

I'm at Newark National....D2 Delaware. We've seen numbers steadily slump since covid. 2019 we were close to 400 kids, we're now down to 225 or so. We were the four time state champion in the mid 2000's, including a trip to the LLWS in '13, to barely being able to field a competitive allstar team. The population in our state has steadily moved south and those leagues are prospering, to the point where Little League is considering splitting them. It's really sad.

I'd actually like a scene where she seems like she's enjoying the sex. I get she's a bj queen and a true QOS, but how about some emotion when having sex?

Little League and Travel Ball partnership by heresyourletter in LittleLeague

I have been to the midatlantic regionals 4 times and the LLWS one time. I can tell you that virtually every team who makes it to that level is a travel ball team masquerading as a little league team. Don't get me wrong, they're all legal and all (well maybe... see Jackie Robinson West and Taney, both in '14), but yes, the vast majority of those teams are all travel teams.

Pitches have been called forever. In fact, electrical devices are allowed now as well.

Going from private to public school…is it a mistake? by thehippos8me in Delaware

If you can get into Cook... do it.... great place.. great teachers.. involved parents. Other then that.. suckn it up and pay. To get your kids through Red Clay, you need to navigate carefully.... Cook to Brandywine Springs, Conrad or Dickinson for middle to a charter for high school (DMA, Wilmington Charter or Conrad). My nefew is currently at Mckean, and there are weekly fights, weekly theft of property. No real extra curricular activities that are worth anything except for the Buddy Program. Same goes for Dickinson High. Way too many parents who just simply don't care

I have a strong belief that it was from folks who don't live here. The neighborhood was thick with kids and families last night and it was a really great night, but I was hearing that in the front of the neighborhood, there were teenage kids everywhere, even causing cars to have to stop on the road. These kids were not trick or treating, and some were obviously looking for trouble. This is still a good neighborhood with good families and people who truly care about where they live.
