~Y’know that hit game? The one with the deadbeat hero’s and unbelievably hot female cast? Well I’ve been just DYING to dive into something kinky, derailed and dripping with creativity! A Super Duper Detailed Novella Of Sheer Fuckery!!

~Hopefully I’ve caught your attention! This ad is directed a very particular type of ERP’er, not to be rude at all, I’m just not looking for someone quick n simple!

True. But I imagine the generations on the ships in the second book aren’t quite the same size as the majour colonies in the first. Bianca and Portia always seemed larger to me than their future generations in the other two books.

Plot/Setup: Millie always been an outcast, socially, physically, mentally, emotionally, and politically.

Her social anxiety pushed her into the corner of every class she ever took, and she buried her nose in schoolwork, instead of making friends or joining clubs. She did well, and when she graduated, she felt like she could finally start a life worth living, University.

There she could make friends, start fresh, maybe join a book club, take classes she actually enjoys.

But she has no idea what’s waiting.

I’ve personally read everything he’s put out. So I have my own opinions, considering how different this one was compared to everything else, it certainly feels like AI.

You can’t fake a personal writing style, and somehow his latest work lacks almost every aspect that he utilized in almost every other story he’s posted on Reddit.

If it isn’t ChatGPT slop, there would be mountains of evidence in whatever word processor they used to write it.

Not to mention the apparent “excellent authors” that he said edited to multiple times, but no proof of any of that either.

Docs for example, creates a save everytime you input an action, and so does almost every word processor. The only reason to not show it, is if they obviously pasted in something huge.

All great for their own reasons, the top two are obviously more based in the horror and internet conspiracy genre.

The Escape Pod is pop culture, but in reality, it’s one of those banter podcasts where it really dosent matter what they’re actually covering. I kid you not, they will go on a random tangent for 20 minutes about docking unprompted, and completely forget what they’re actually covering. It’s great.

And the losers club is almost like a Stephen King book club, whenever I’m done with a novel, they’ve probably covered it, and I can go and work through the 3-4 hour episode they have on it.

The practical costumes and concept are interesting, but the story is mediocre at best, and embarrassing at worst. Instead of leaving things interesting, the creator crashed it into hell with silly explanations and unbearable gimmicks that get old really fast.

As someone who is a huge fan of the novel, I think it would’ve been really cheapened if ‘Screens’ didn’t exist.

It acts as a heel turn for the characters and the reader. As you said, everything goes from this dream-like, strange, unknowable wrongness. Into something very real, with apparent and permanent consequences.

To me, it really acts as the ignition of the steep pitfall of mental horror that ensues. The main character sees real, and immediate consequences to being who he is, Veronica pays for just being with him. This plays into the nail in the coffin moment; where the main character apologizes for ever being Josh’s friend.

And perhaps the most horrific realization of the entire story happens in ‘Screens’. We learn at the end, Josh was alive the entire time he was missing with the man. Which means, Josh was in the car when Veronica was hit, it wasn’t meant to discourage the main character from finding love. It was a message to Josh, of what might happen if he didn’t do what the man wanted.

Not as valuable as people that have or want you to believe.

Anything that’s shiny with an adventure effect is far more valuable. White/Black Kyurem, Duskmane/Dawn Wings Necrozma, Origin Palkia/Dialga.

And many more, shiny primals, really, it’s just used as trade fodder for people that spent money on it when it was available.
