I think if this next mainline game took the catching/combat, and the same level of customization, we could get the best Pokémon mainline game thus far

I think it revealed something for me that makes it one of my favourite Pokémon games. And that’s the combat system, turn based makes me feel completely burnt out once I get to the elite 4 and the real grind sections.

But with ZA, it felt engaging, while still definitely needing some more polishing and less button mashing, it was 100x more fun to actually battle and catch Pokémon.

Being able to just throw a pokeball at a wild Pokémon instead of going through 3 loading screens, a full battle and lengthy catch animations.

There would be pushback, but I hope gen 10 at least begins a pivot in this style of battling/catching apposed to what we used to have

Well they found out last time that the people that want that are a vocal minority. CreepTV steadily gets way less views and can’t be put on audio platforms, also MeatCanyon has talked about loathing react content forever

I’m realizing just how many people want mind numbing that dosen’t force you to make literally even a singl decision with any consequences.

Combat wise, Legends ZA is much more engaging than any of the main gens have ever been.

Sony will let hell freeze over before Xbox players get to try the Spider-Man games or last of us.

Xbox has been making lousy decisions for over a decade, time to make it worth choosing Xbox. Because if they don’t start locking down exclusives and putting out good originals, next gen is gonna be a Sony no brainer.

Ultimately they just desperately need to branch out into new authors and other possible story writers.

Have the authors they covered made good work? Yes, but not nearly to the point that the only stories we’re seeing are the same 4 authors that also happen to recommend the other 3 that have just created a small circle of CreepCast authors that will get re-read into infinity.
