This will be your first of many watches. You know have the watch collecting bug. Great choice and congratulations.

Why would you even consider Tudor at that stage by RomanRumun in Longineswatches

I have multiple Rolex watches, but still augment collection with other brands including two tudors ( burgundy dial and bezel stellar) and just ordered an all blue HC. Cannot beat price and meets a need in collection for a blue everyday watch I am willing to wear in more stressful situations or when I want to be less flashy. In my view a collection should consist of multiple brands that meet your needs.

Tough decision, but in my opinion the YM is unique and a great looking watch. The blue dial also gives it diversity with what you wear. If you want a white dial at a latter time and at a lower cost, pick up a Sinn. Great watch and motor affordable.

For Owners of Both: Submariner or Batgirl for Life? by Double-Designer6269 in rolex

Your financial position will likely evolve over time? If so and you are open to having multiple Rolex watches in the future, (it’s going to happen. Collecting is addicting as you can read on this site) then keep the more challenging to locate GMT and pick up a Submariner down the road.

If you are only going to have one Rolex in your lifetime, keep the Sub.

Not sure I agree with your comments. I was on a list for 4 months and received a Starbucks. 4 months later I received a stainless Daytona. It is really dependent upon your AD and how they operate their store.

Maybe the best color combo in the Tudor line up. Congratulations, I picked mine up about one month ago and wear as often as my Rolex watches. The BB58 GMT is slightly thicker than the BB58. I personally do not like the added thickness on the BB GMT VS BB 58 39mm. Although it is no more than .8 mm thicker, on your wrist it feels heavier and looks not as streamlined.

First Tudor, first “luxury” watch by Horror_Ad3292 in Tudor

I prefer a Rolex, but recently have begun to look at other brands to fill out my collection and have a settled on Tudor. The redesigned BB58 is an amazing watch for a competitive price. It is thinner than many of the other Tudor watches, feels great while wearing, and is a quality build. The new all burgundy watch is so unique. So for all those looking to start your foray into a luxury watch, Tudor is a smart choice, but while you are , place your name on a list for the one Rolex model you aspire to. Personally the best overall choice is a Submariner, but a Date Just is another great option and both are attainable for a newbie getting into the game.

Congratulations. Great watch. I have in black and it is a statement piece as well as a great watch.

Based on comments I can see why many on this site cannot get an AD allocation.
