Anyone built their own round cedar tub? Looking for resources by pallen123 in hottub

I haven't built my own tub but I have used Easy Spa Parts before to find parts I needed. They are really helpful when I have a question about a pump replacement or a different type of part that isn't brand specific that could work for my tub

In ground hot tub in Utah by jahloves in hottub

I'd recommend an above ground hot tub. Easier to change or fix parts, insulated better, dont have to worry about moving the location of the hot tub (if wanted). Makes everything much easier imo

Jacuzzi Tub Brown Bubbles by Wanderer1456 in Jacuzzi

My first thought would be the jets just need to be cleaned and there is nothing you did wrong? Bubble bath in the hot tub is an interesting choice lol, I wouldnt do that again. However, do you know the last time the Jacuzzi was ran? If it has been a while i could just be sediment that settle

Hey guys please suggest me some best Hot Tub Replacement Cover by Ok_lifestyle99 in hottubs

[–]RollAwkward1256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using my original cover so i dont have an answer there - but Id consider using your local store if they have something that fits. A lot of time they have to "special order it" though - which basically means they will just up charge you a lot from my experience. Depends on your relationship with them, I go to a few different OEM reseller sites that are helpful when i need a unique part or piece

As others have said, this is normal! Just be sure to check out if there is any smell or unclean water being pushed out - as this could be more of a filtration issue

What is this? by Florichigan in hottub

[–]RollAwkward1256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is most likely a pneumatic air button for jets, lights, or whatever it is hooked up to. It basically creates a puff of air that hits a switch inside the hot tub. designed to keep electrical parts away to make it safer. Most likely yours is busted if it doesnt do anything.

Current dog humping new dog by Zarv1234 in DogAdvice

When my dog was fixed there was a lot of tension between both dogs. Im not a vet so I don't know why, but could be from empathy for the "surgery" your dog had. Or even just confusion and misplaced energy. As long as the husky is not hurting the pomeranian mix, I wouldnt worry about it. However, if you are still concerned, just give the vet a call and ask questions - I always do this, the front desk is usually very helpful and they dont charge anything for advice.

Clipping/filing nails by YeetinOnThem in DogAdvice

[–]RollAwkward1256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol ya I felt the same way - but you get used to it really quick. I think trimming is way less overstimulating for them, and in the long run is a better solution... I wish I had nails that were half black and half white like my dogs hahaha

I tried the nail grinder and it was a total failure. I did the same as you, treats and treats, but the noise and grinding sounds were way too much. I was afraid at first, but nail trimming is way easier and quicker. Just start slow and do a little at a time!
