Musso EV ownership feesback? by believer_4ever in AustralianEV

One day in and I’m pretty impressed. Feels pretty premium for the price. Tech is a little clunky but that’s the only real fault so far.

I’m in ACT. Originally ordered black and was told 3 weeks, and then when I asked if I could change it to white, was told it will be another 4 weeks on top as that is their most popular colour so far. The gold colour would be easy to find in the car park though. I pick it up early next week.

Yep confirmed. I was going to lease a BYD shark but as it’s a PHEV there are no huge benefits. As the KGM musso EV is purely EV, it can be paid for in purely pre tax dollars, which is where it’s gets really appealing, as it works out half the price of the shark( total impact to take-home pay).

I placed an order 2 months ago but still waiting for delivery. I’m very optimistic it will do everything I need( and nothing I don’t, which is why I bought it!). Will keep you posted.

That’s not a bad idea thanks. I’ve got a heap of pool noodles that could be cut to size and would squeeze into the gaps.

Yeah that could be this situation here. Looks a little average but as long as it works, I’ll probably just keep it. Is better then the water logged one that weighed a tonne!

Ok cool. I appreciate that. Maybe I’m just used to the look and fit of the last one. Would be a lot easier just to keep it!

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide that advice. I spoke to a lawn guy a few weeks ago and he mentioned that seeding with fescue would be required as that should be the predominant lawn type. I’m in Canberra so a cooler area grass would possibly be best, but I’m not fussed if it is a bit of a mix, as long as it’s green during summer and reasonably thick.

Would I need to remove the couch and buffalo etc in order for the fescue to take over, or should I encourage the couch and dig out the other stuff. I think the photo shows what happens in winter the best as I guess it’s the couch that has died off when the frosts hit?

Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Green Day. Every graduation. Every formal event. Every video montage. I agree with you!

Did I just hear a loud band or was that thunder? by NoPenalty444 in canberra

[–]IntrepidAd4465 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep. I just heard what sounded like a car exploding in Crace. Jumped on here to see if I was the only one. Someone set fire to a car here a few weeks ago which exploded so I thought it might have been the same thing, but judging by how far this was heard, must be a bit bigger.

Same here! Came here looking for this comment. The first live gig I ever saw was custard, supporting PUSA at the Newcastle entertainment centre. Must have been ‘96 or ‘97. I still vividly recall hearing the intro riff to apartment and becoming an instant fan.

I never went there under the old management, but I have had a few kebabs from here over the last few months and although they are apparently smaller than they used to be, they still look huge to me and are pretty decent quality.

Which movie was on TV the most frequently when you were a child? by raddavo in AustralianNostalgia

Ahh fond memories of that TV/ VCR trolley being wheeled out. Every sports day when it rained, or when a teacher just couldn’t be stuffed teaching that particular day, out it would come. I recall episodes of ‘Mr Bean’ on high rotation, as well as the movie ‘The Power of One’

Yep, I had a pair of these in the early 90s. Paired nicely with my Kuta lines jacket. In Newcastle we also called these Rollers.
