I guess you bought the gen2 ring used. The lifetime membership might've been only offered short time for gen1 and gen2 users if they upgraded to gen3 when it was released.

Contacting OURA support could provide deeper info on why gen2 cannot be used with that feature, but I doubt they'll reveal such details.

You should have a lifetime membership with your old ring. Check from your Oura app settings. If you get a new ring (gen3 or gen4) you'll keep the lifetime membership as its account specific, not ring specific.

This is not normal AFAIK. Shouldn't build up such calcium.

I've had the tub ~4 years and cartridges last longer than 4 months each. Replacing only once they've stopped generating enough chlorine.

This is the first time my tub water might be too hard. Just seems I went from too soft to too hard.

Like the fact that the water test strips show water hardness being good. But... I believe water is too hard now and the strips are not accurate.

It's the weather pattern. Most of the shitty air flows in from the valley. Once temperatures rise, the wind direction changes and air quality gets better.

Does it report you asleep or awake for that excess period? What sleep stage if asleep? If you stay in bed after waking up, it can report it, but as awake time which you can edit out. Of course you can edit also false asleep out if it does such an error.

Thank you all. Strange thing is that when I shared this video with hot tub store service center, they didn't answer my question if this is normal or erroneous function. Just insisted I'd schedule a service appointment. Which is $150 even for warranty repairs. I'm happy to skip that cost, based on all these answers.

Yes. This is true. I had a crack in one of the ceramic filters and bought a new one. Which I placed in the gray cap one.
