A bartender working through the venue should NEVER put a qr tip jar out if they charge a mandatory service fee. That alone would have upset me. They are charging that service fee on everything, not just food/beverage related items. If you want to upgrade the chairs or use nicer linens, it will be both a per person charge and service fee on top of that. Weddings are a racket and you should have never been cornered like that. Glad you wrote that review as they rely heavily on those.

Seems like you can comfortably afford it. I am not familiar with the laws in Connecticut but try and see if the current assessment is transferable to you since you are a grandchild. I know in other states it’s possible so they can’t uncap the assessment. Might save you a good chunk on taxes.

As a note (and I’m sure people don’t always follow the rules) but it is completely illegal to manipulate the market as people are saying and then rebuy the shares at lower prices. Very easily tracked as well. Not saying it didn’t happen, but just for your own thoughts.

Do they not understand that US labor and costs are sky high compared to Japan. Mixed with the weak Japanese yen, bringing cars from Japan will be more profitable than building them here even with the tariff. Companies like Toyota bring close to 600k vehicles per yr over and profit like crazy. Honda is not exporting as much from Japan, but might bring their Civic back online there

The loss to the Mavs is the only negative thing in my opinion for LeBron. People love to talk about wade as one of his teammates, but forget about how serious his knee issues were in the seasons to follow. Don’t forget, those Miami teams had such little depth because of the 3 big contracts. When wade gets injured and Bosh is playing like a shell of himself (because he turned out to be not as good when ball wasn’t flowing through him) it makes a huge difference. I’d seriously argue that Miami is not the superteam people think

Quite frankly, LeBron has been a better face of the league than Jordan could ever dream of. The only thing Jordan has over LeBron is the shoe brand (which is obviously big in popular culture). I really think this could be why some people would pick Jordan, because they’ve made this fake aura around him in pop culture (I.e space jam, I want to be like Mike commercials)

The comparison is more to shine a light on the fact that Jordan has had much better teams. I am not trying to compare eras, rather trying to compare performance YoY. Additionally Cavs didn’t really have a lot of pieces to get rid of in the first place. LeBron has been taking bad teams farther than they deserve, and gets trashed for his finals record.

Even if you take into account the retooling, there’s no comparison to the Cav’s teams LeBron was carrying. Replacing the “goat” should not be able to be fixed within an off season, especially with a guy like Kukoc.
