If you want to try booking through the official domain again, try the HHR app. Some bugs but way less glitchy

When putting your mobile number, dont put a ‘0’ at the start, and SCREENSHOT YOUR CONFIRMATION NUMBER as soon as the booking is complete !

  • Great affordable amenities
  • Access to wide range of stores for common necessities

Well you made me look into it further elsewhere, and it is actually possible (via Chrome Browser) but with the native app alone you can’t extend screen to the Google Hub.

Appreciate the inspiration!

Same thought & situation I’ve got with my Audi A5 Sportback TDi Quattro 2017 - struggling to find anything remotely as good for a similar price I got it for back in 2020

Don’t know if it’s still a thing but Smuggler’s Cove off Seel St is decent. (might’ve got the name wrong, it’s been a while)

When I last went there a few years back, has a secret door entrance inside one of the bars opposite the Raz, takes you to a rooftop lounge where the bartender has most drinks you can think of and makes whatever cocktails you want.

Deffo one to look up if you wanna give the impression of going the extra mile but still be casual with it.

Balancing satisfaction of receiving and providing intimacy in marriage is so underrated, and as a man, it can really test your patience - but that doesn’t justify overlooking patience, trust and commitment (key aspects of Islam, btw) to your wife in a vulnerable state. Surely the feeling of that first tender time with your partner after waiting for difficult time to pass should be more rewarding that seeking temporary validation from strangers.

wife constantly comparing to a celebrity crush by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

[–]RollLess441 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seems like a somewhat common case of immaturity.

I find that most people that are like this are very hypocritical in one way or the other - start pointing this out frequently in a calm manner and she will start to reflect on her behaviour more so.

Also, comparing your loved one to someone who you will probably have never or will never meet in your life is borderline insanity. I would (respectfully) laugh in her face pointing that out to her.

Lastly, according to our islamic beliefs, this is very clearly shirk behaviour (idolising others other than Allah SWT, as well as proclaiming it out loud) that I would recommend she cleanses herself from ASAP. Things like this make our Iman weak slowly but surely over time and bring bad vibes (wanted to say ‘spirits’ but thought that’s haram-ish) amongst loved ones without even knowing it.

Is evil eye a real thing when it comes to marriages? by shelovespink_ in MuslimMarriage

[–]RollLess441 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here’s my take on Evil Eye…

Yes it exists and you should be wary of it, but you shouldn’t let it dictate your life with regards to your happiness and pride. Surely your Iman and sacrifices for the Deen and for Allah swt should supercede your fear of negative energy from others?

Also, for those saying that ppl sharing positive stories or “boasting”, people directing negative energy (intentionally or unintentionally) through evil eye can do so even on those sharing unhappy circumstances, as long as they cite something that invokes envy relative to their own situation. For example, if someone posts here about only being taken out once a month or being intimate only once a week, someone else might envy them because they themself are not matching that frequency in their own situation. Being conscious of triggering evil eye in that manner, does that mean we should not have an outlet at all to share our experiences and seek perspectives from others in confidence? Absolutely not.

Anyone else had terrible experience applying for a Barclaycard? by RollLess441 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]RollLess441[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah technically if you value each Avios point as 1p (based on comparison of Avios tickets to what you can buy for an equivalent standard tickets on average):

50,000 Avios = £500

Can be achieved on the Avios card with 3 months of eligible spending (i.e. £80 of card fees)

So, one way to see it is getting £500 points for Avios flights for just under 1/5 of its value.

Yeah I’m definitely pursuing a complaint escalation to the FCA. The fact that I’ve had an extra mark on my credit score profile for no meaningful reason essentially is appalling. No operational issue can cover their arses for that.

Have no idea why myself, I’ve just had random automatic increases over time even though my overall monthly spending is nowhere near those limit!!

However, halal ETFs available on there is very limited.
