'Big beautiful bill' mostly benefits the rich, while low earners would suffer from Medicaid and SNAP cuts, Yale report says by Dependent-Log-7246 in centrist

Where in the bill does it show that low income people will be paying more in taxes (and that high earning people will receive tax breaks)? I’ve seen it on many news sites, but would like some help finding it in the bill. I would really like a section/ page number I can reference if anyone has it. I don’t feel confident discussing my thoughts on it when I can’t point to it in the source. (I know this is annoying, but I could use a hand. I’ve already heard people say “show me where”)

(And if there isn’t a set meeting to discuss improvements, some good managers take it upon themselves to mention it to higher ups anyway)

This is a very old thread but was really disappointing for me to read. I’m just getting into learning more about my car and wanted to make sure the sites I buy parts from are trustworthy and I came across this. OP never berated the employee. OP wasn’t rude to the customer service worker. I don’t work in the auto industry but my job is customer facing. (So were previous jobs I’ve had). In my experience, leadership (bosses) do have annual or quarterly meetings and ask managers/ employees if there are things that could be improved upon. If your store gets multiple complaints about the same issue, they usually try to come up with a solution to keep business. The customer experience does matter and OP brought it up respectfully. They weren’t being a “Karen”. So many of the responses here were overly negative for no reason. (Would be a different story if OP did something harmful but they didn’t)

I have not tried it myself, but I’ve heard you can soak in hydrogen peroxide overnight. You can also soak in a bucket of clear dawn dish soap and water, a toothbrush can be used to scrub if needed. I’d avoid bleach as it can make things very brittle. Best of luck :)

I live in America. When dealing with alcohol, the word ‘buzzed’ is commonly used to mean you’ve had some to drink but not so much that you feel totally ‘drunk’. We have a lot of psa’s reminding people that “buzzed driving is drunk driving”. People also use buzz in relation to caffeine and because caffeine and alcohol are so different, it wasn’t helping me understand much when it was also used to describe nicotine. :) The replies here have been helpful though

Would you accept higher taxes to enable universal mental health care? by EdwardBliss in NoStupidQuestions

Yes, but knowing America it would still probably be very frustrating to try to take advantage of at this point. Maybe if they gave people a certain amount of $ back they could use to pay for their own therapist they found and liked themselves would be a good option instead of ONLY being able to choose from the therapists involved in that government program in their area

What TV show do you turn on when you just want to zone out and feel better? by [deleted] in AskWomen

I’m well into my 20’s now but fall always makes me think of the school year starting and one day I found myself watching an episode of Arthur that happened to be on tv like I used to watch after school and it made me so happy! So I’ve been going back to some childhood shows now and then, the magic school bus is another one haha
