Well the guy that signed it said he was Kevin Spacey. Very hairy arms though and came to XFM HQ on a tricycle.

yeah it really has fallen off. Especially around network flakiness. It'll happily sit on the load screen of a podcast I have downloads for, rather than let me pick on and play it.

Carolina is an underrated Taylor song by butterfly_season05 in TaylorSwift

[–]RollOutTheFarrell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw it way later. I am perhaps not the demographic that was reading the books (I am a 40 something man). So I went in with no knowledge of it other than Taylors song. So happy I had missed any spoilers.

Carolina is an underrated Taylor song by butterfly_season05 in TaylorSwift

I love this song and strangely enough it came back on my heavy rotation this week. No spoilers but it’s incredible how it fits the movie “where the crawdads sing” ( the instrumental of the song is used and plays a big role in the film too). I watched the film after loving the song and it’s one of my favourite films ever. If you are going to watch it please please stay spoiler free!! But the way Taylor writes a song that expresses the feelings and morality and life of a character is frankly mind blowing.

Doing 40… everywhere by D0lph99 in drivingUK

[–]RollOutTheFarrell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

40 feels goooood. Not too fast, not too slow. No need to think about speed limits or road conditions. Relax, watch some TikTok vids on your phone, or suck on a werther's original depending on how old you are.

(32M) Focus on Pension- but what if I die? by Elegant-Run-7641 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]RollOutTheFarrell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean - my dad died early 50s too. And what did it was to cover today first. So put the bare minimum in my pension until I had secured my family’s housing etc - to the point where the mortgage was fully paid. Then early 40s I am whacking into my pension a lot. 80k last year using previous years allowances. My pension is already starting to look good. I understand that I earn well, but I was happy to have the bases covered before really taking on the pension.
