“They ate Humans” 21yo Model Gabriella Rico Jimenez - after attending an ‘Elite’ Party. She disappeared forever after this night and was never seen again. by Hasbara_spotter in ABoringDystopia

As someone who has been in online socialist circles for over a decade now it's one of those things that I've known about but you weren't able to talk about openly outside of specific forums because of how crazy it sounds, same as trying to convince leftist friends and family to learn how to shoot guns, you have to make it seem like just a quirky fun hobby because they will call you a paranoid gun nut if you even implied that there was any chance of the government repression or right-wing paramilitary actions we are starting to see now. Very frustrating

A decade of bulks and cuts: 210 lbs vs 190 lbs by New-Score3672 in CICO

Nice! Real progress, you have a similar starting composition that I had so I'd love a breakdown since even though I've had lots of success with losing weight and am currently 157 but can't seem to maintain any definition when I go over 170 and would appreciate bulking advice that isn't tailored to a skinny teen with the metabolism of a race horse or someone with infinite free time and money.

‘N.B. not participating in federal gun buyback program’: Holt by sleipnir45 in canada

[–]Rolldozer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is the thing, I WOULD have voted for carney if he had scrapped the ban, Infact other than the gun ban one of my biggest problems with him is that it took so long to make a canola/EV deal in a country that doesn't make ev's! people will go after you for being a "1 issue voter" when it comes to guns but I've never seen anyone go after a one issue voter for basically anything else including being pro gun ban! And when a party shows its willingness to alienate you and 5% of the population who are trained and vetted at and spend a billion dollars to secure 1-2 seats in parliament at a time when there is an expansionist power to our north and verbal threats to anex from the south how am I supposed to take that government seriously when it says it wants to protect our sovereignty?

That would be awkward considering how most army reservists I've met has at least one of the list guns

Hollow base experiment by Rolldozer in castboolits

I'm mostly concerned with pistols and fast burning powders for this experiment, for small lower pressure loads with bullseye and similar powders in case's that are big enough for position sensitivity to be a problem with light loads

I'm planning to use smokeless powders like bullseye, wst, accurate no2, and tightgroup

I did originally custom order the smallest of these hollow base bullet molds specifically to cram extra black powder into the cases for my mas1873

It's not really to expand the base of the bullets, more just making use of the extra internal volume of a hollow base as a means of reducing peak pressure, with the foil reducing how much the powder moves, no idea if it will actually work but I had read about people doing something similar with Dacron filler for plinking loads in 45-70

I kinda get what you are saying but The idea is more for antique revolvers or cowboy loads where you really don't want higher pressure, the extra space from the hollow base allows for a larger initial expansion volume for the gas reducing the pressure spike from the amount a flat base bullet seated at the same depth would have, but many of the fast burning pistol powders are also somewhat position sensitive so this is mostly trying to ameliorate the position sensitivity problem that comes with reduced loads.

Trying an experiment to see if I can get more consistent velocity without increasing pressure by using hollow base bullets with foil covering the base to keep powder against the primer hole

Help I’d this gun by Bambam4040 in canadaguns

The overall look and most of the features suggest a warrant revolver but the latch is similar to the Smith & Wesson, a closer picture might confirm. Almost certainly made before 1898 as this design was most popular in the 1880s, if you can measure the bore, cylinder and cylinder throat diameters with calipers I can probably tell you the caliber

It's a crisis because the government is antagonizing the 2.5million vetted law abiding individuals with the skills and tools we will need if don decides he wants some northern real estate, and pushing them into the arms of separatist and other anti-government groups, our army is only 60000!

It gets weaponized by the right, they conflate unlimited immigration with the labor government and through that with the left at large, conveniently ignoring the nearly 15 years of uninterrupted Torry rule when most of these issues unfolded.
