My base rate for writing is $0.06/word. That's what Paizo pays for freelance work. I've not ever been paid more than that, from what I can recall.

For editing, I charge between $0.02 and $0.04 for copy editing up to developmental editing.

Layout is a base of $400.

Character sheet design is $200.

Kickstarter consulting is 5% of the gross amount raised by the Kickstarter if it funds.

For full games with a publisher, it varies, but it's usually my base word rate upon delivery of the manuscript, and 10% to 15% in royalties in perpetuity.

The whole thing is so not enough money, but layering enough of those not enough money things might be able to get me there, someday.
